The two music video which I've analysed is, 'Hit me Baby One More Time' by Britney Spears

The music video 'Hit me Baby One More Time' represents the artist, Britney Spears, as a young student in an American school.

The narrative focuses on her love for a jock in her school. The music begins with the establishing shot of her in a classroom being distracted.

The other students which are in that classroom are also bored and waiting to be freed from the classroom. We then see a close up shot of the "bell ringing" and everyone flees from the classroom. The teacher in that classroom is presented as a middle age woman to contrast the youth energy of Britney Spears. Her costume is bland, grey suit and her glasses give the impression that she is strict.The music video uses a number of locations: the classroom, corridor, mall and gym. These places are really important because it shows where you'd expect to find young people.
